This type of hardware is used on vertically installed window and door constructions and is equipped with bottom-mounted rollers, locking parts and, depending on the system, additional lifting, tilting or guiding mechanisms. This allows the sliding sash not only to close securely, but also to move smoothly and, in some versions, be set in a ventilation position.
For correct operation and long service life, the hardware must be used within the specified sash weights, sash sizes and system combinations. The maximum sash weight is always determined by the component with the lowest permitted load capacity. Application charts, component assignments and installation instructions must therefore be followed carefully.
Lift-and-slide hardware is suitable for 2- to 4-part lift-and-slide elements and is available in versions for sash weights up to 200 kg, 300 kg and 400 kg, depending on the selected system. These systems are designed for smooth running, reliable locking and durable day-to-day performance.
For safe and proper use, the hardware should be checked and maintained at least once a year. Moving parts and locking points should be lubricated, wear should be detected in time, and adjustments or part replacements should be carried out by a specialist. This helps ensure reliable operation and prevents premature wear.
This type of hardware is intended for normal use in standard conditions. For use in wet rooms, aggressive environments or burglar-resistant constructions, specially adapted material versions and system combinations must be selected separately.
