CYLINDER ZBK 72 WITH TWO BOLTS: REPLACEMENT FOR ROMBI & KNOBLOCH LETTERBOXES

Your letterbox lock needs to be replaced? No problem with the right letterbox lock as an inexpensive replacement part. BURG-WÄCHTER offers separate letterbox cylinders for simple and quick self-installation. The letterbox cylinders are available in two sizes. The letterbox cylinders can be used on many letterboxes of different makes without any problems. Not only from the house of BURG-WÄCHTER. 

INSTALL CYLINDER ZBK 72 IN JUST A FEW STEPS

The letterbox lock ZBK 72 is suitable for letterboxes made by Rombi and Knobloch. If the lock of your letterbox from one of these manufacturers needs to be replaced, the letterbox cylinder ZBK 72 is the right choice. After a few simple steps, your letterbox is ready for use again. The cylinder is supplied with two bolts.This way you can find the right bolt for your letterbox. Assembly tip: Note that the key is not removed during the assembly process.

It is very important to maintain your lock properly, especially if it is exposed to the elements of nature a lot. Dirt and corrosion can build up, especially during cold and inclement weather. Therefore, we recommend lubricating your door lock at least twice a year or ideally at every seasonal change. 
To make sure your lock runs smoothly again, we recommend using lubricants such asWD-40 WHITE LITHIUM SPRAY GREASE. The correct use of these oils is essential.

​In general, there are two solutions for lock maintenance: prevention/protection and troubleshooting. 

If a lock is difficult to open, it could be due to two reasons: 
​
​1. The key and lock are not yet properly matched, this is common with a new lock

​​2. There is dirt build-up or rust in the lock

In these cases, we recommend using WD-40 WHITE LITHIUM SPRAY GREASE to solve the problem. This will prevent rust from forming in the lock. However, it is important that you apply the oil in the right place in the lock so that the WD-40 gets to the moving parts to ensure proper lubrication.
