KEY SWITCH – FOR RELIABLE ACCESS AND CONTROL

These professional key switches are designed for reliable control of electric locks, shutters, alarm systems, and various other electrical applications. Their versatile construction makes them suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

You can choose between a momentary (pulse) contact, where the key returns to its starting position after activation, or a maintained (continuous) contact, where the key remains in the selected position. Both versions are available with make and/or break contacts, on one or two sides.

The key switches are available in both surface-mounted and flush-mounted models and can be optionally equipped with a tamper switch and red/green LED indication. With their IP55 aluminium housing, they are designed for indoor and outdoor use, even in demanding conditions.

Features  

SURFACE MOUNT

A surface mount key switch is placed on the wall or on a flat surface, without a recess in the wall.

FLUSH MOUNTING

A flush-mounted key switch is recessed into a wall, door frame or metal panel: only the front remains visible.

PULSE CONTACT

after activation, the key automatically springs back to its original position.

CONTINUOUS CONTACT

after activation, the key remains in the selected position.

ONE SIDE

the key activates the switch in one direction.

TWO SIDES

the key activates the switch in two directions.

RED/GREEN 
LED INDICATOR

for a clear status display (inactive/active).

MAKE CONTACT 
(NO – Normally Open)​

A make contact is a contact that is normally open.

No current flows as long as it is not activated.

When the key (or switch) is operated, the contact closes and current can flow.  

BREAK CONTACT
 (NC – Normally Closed)

A break contact is a contact that is normally closed.

Current does flow as long as it is not activated.

When the key (or switch) is operated, the contact opens and the current is interrupted.

TAMPER BOARD

A tamper board (tamper circuit) is an additional security module that detects when someone tries to open, loosen, or manipulate the key switch.
