Want to install your door handle hook easily and professionally?
STEP 1
1. Align the top notch of the stainless steel plate with the center of the door handle.
2. Align the stainless steel plate vertically with the door handle.
Follow these alignment guidelines to ensure the door handle can move properly under the hook.
3. Mark the two drill holes on the wall using a level.
STEP 2
4. Drill two holes in the wall.
5. Insert plugs into the drilled holes. Make sure the plugs are fully embedded in the wall.
6. Fasten the stainless steel plate to the wall using two T25 or Z2 screws.
STEP 3
7. Place the hook against the stainless steel plate.
8. Insert the carriage bolts through the holes in the stainless steel plate and the hook.
9. Tighten the hook with two lock nuts.
STEP 4
10. Test whether the door handle correctly clicks into the door handle hook when opening the door:
a. Open the door and click the handle into the hook.
b. Push the handle down to release the door from the hook.
c. Check if the handle can move freely under the hook.
Adjust the mounting height of the stainless steel plate or plastic hook if the handle does not click into the hook correctly.
