INNOVATIVE LOCKING TECHNOLOGY WITH PATENTED PROTECTION

Our advanced locking solution is characterised by a unique key profile with cuts on both sides, providing unparalleled security against unauthorised copying. In our UDM system, only authorised persons with the right key can gain access, thanks to the use of a complex three-dimensional profile. This means that standard copiers, which can only produce two-dimensional products, are sidelined.

In addition, optional rotary levers are integrated on one side, which work together with a locking bar for an extra layer of security on the long side of the key profile. The cylinder also includes up to three profile pins, mounted on different locking surfaces, which read the lateral code in the key profile.

Our cylinder is equipped with six spring-loaded pin tumblers on each side, which operate vertically in steps for optimum performance. Moreover, at least one housing and all pin pins are made of hardened, nickel-plated steel to ensure protection against drilling out. In addition, there are two housing pins on each side with a special shape that provide effective protection against pecking tools.

Our anti-picking feature, conforming to DIN 18252, includes specially shaped striking pins that effectively protect against picking tools, keeping your belongings safe.

Our keys are made of strong nickel silver and comply with DIN standards. With a minimum shank length of 14 mm, they are perfect for commercial door fittings with cylinder covers. The key tip is specially shaped and patented for easy insertion into the cylinder. A guide groove along the entire cylinder pull ensures smooth key torque transfer and prevents key breakage.

The tactile and optical quality of the surfaces is created by a coating that we apply in several layers using a special method we developed ourselves. Since we have our own electroplating department, we can supply locking cylinders and locks in a wide range of colours: from metal surfaces such as nickel, chrome, stainless steel, bronze or brass, to lacquered versions such as white, brown or browned by chemical colouring.

Blasting the surface creates a rough and matt affect, grinding creates a coloured stainless steel look and polishing creates a unique shine. Finally, a bath with electrolyte can be used to apply a metallic coating, such as nickel or chrome. This method increases hardness and counteracts wear and tear.

A UNIQUE SURFACE

Available in colours that match the current trend of dark tones for door fittings and lever handles, the locking cylinders and mortise locks of the new range become high-quality design elements in their own right.

Through a unique and extensive painting and coating process specially developed for our Look & Feel line, the brass used in the surface takes on the velvety feel of blasted aluminium.

UNICOLOUR

In the Unicolour variant, all visible parts of the cylinder are sprayed in the available Look & Feel colours. Both the body and the core of the cylinder are supplied in your chosen colour.

BICOLOUR

With the Bicolour variant, the cylinder body is painted. The cylinder plug is nickel-plated with a polished finish to make the design stand out even more. The polished surface is highly wear-resistant - even with intensive use.

If you are looking for a cylinder, the correct length of the profile cylinder is very important, it depends on the thickness of the door and the matching door hardware. Measuring a cylinder lock is not complicated. To measure the length of a cylinder lock, measure from the centre of the profile cylinder, where the fixing screw that secures the cylinder lock is located.

The standard length of a cylinder lock is 60mm, which is equal to 30mm on the left-hand side, or outside dimension A, and 30mm on the right-hand side, or inside dimension B. The length can be extended on both sides by 5mm. On thicker doors than 40mm, the lock is often not in the centre of the door, so the length of the cylinder lock must be adjusted accordingly.

Therefore, for example, if you measure the length 45mm on the outside dimension A and measure the length 50mm on the inside dimension B, you will have a cylinder of size 45/50. If, with this same profile cylinder, you want a knob on the inner sides, this becomes a cylinder 45/50 knob or 45/50K for short.

If you are looking for a profile cylinder for your door, there are several additional options available to improve the security and functionality of your cylinder. Below is an overview of these options to consider when choosing a cylinder.

A knob on the inside of your cylinder : A cylinder lock with knob is a convenient and secure option for your door. With this extra option, you can quickly and easily lock and/or unlock your home's door without having to use the key. This is not only convenient, but also a lot safer by giving you an immediate escape route in case of an emergency; such as fire. Moreover, single-cylinder locks with knob prevent you from accidentally getting locked out, as you cannot leave a key on the inside. A knob cylinder is also recommended for elderly people because they are easier to operate than a traditional lock with a key as well as allowing family members and/or emergency workers to enter the house with certainty because there certainly cannot be a key on the inside.
A cylinder with emergency & danger function: With this emergency function also called danger function or hotel function, you can open the door from the outside even if there is a key in the lock on the inside. This can be advantageous in emergency situations, such as fire or when someone becomes unwell and help is needed quickly. Moreover, a cylinder with emergency and danger function offers extra convenience and flexibility, as you do not have to rely on the key on the inside of the door.
Freewheel function on a cylinder: In a cylinder with freewheel function, the carriage, also known as the rotating part of the cylinder, can always rotate freely, even without a key in the cylinder. The freewheeling function is especially needed in some anti-panic locks and electronic multi-point locks and solenoid locks, where the cylinder must always be able to rotate freely when the motor is about to close or unscrew the door.
