AMF Double Profile Cylinder Gate Lock 140D/142D

Discover the versatility of the AMF gate lock 140D/142D, an ideal solution for advanced access control. This lock can be mounted on either the left or right by adjusting the spring bolt, making it suitable for various installations. The lock is available in two widths, 24 mm and 33 mm, with or without a welding box, meeting diverse installation needs.

Equipped with double backset sizes of 30 mm and 60 mm, this lock allows the integration of two profile cylinders (PZ), enabling two independent parties, such as fire departments or waste management companies, to access with a master key. This is especially practical for applications such as fire service entries or waste container enclosures. The lock has a center-to-center spacing of 72 mm with an 8 mm spindle and is equipped with a deadbolt function.

This AMF lock provides a robust and secure solution that can be integrated into the standard master key system, essential for managing access within complex environments. Includes welding box with grip rosette no. 494.

It is of great importance to properly maintain your lock, especially if it is frequently exposed to the elements. Dirt and corrosion can accumulate, particularly during cold and harsh weather. Therefore, we recommend lubricating your door lock at least twice a year or ideally at every change of season.

To ensure that your lock operates smoothly again, we recommend the use of lubricants such as WD-40 SPECIALIST ® WHITE LITHIUM SPRAY GREASE. The correct use of these oils is essential.

Generally, there are two solutions for lock maintenance: prevention/protection and problem-solving.

If a lock is difficult to open, it can be due to two reasons:

​ ​ ​1. The key and the lock have not yet properly adjusted to each other, which often occurs with a new lock

​ ​ ​2. There is a build-up of dirt or rust formation in the lock


In these cases, we recommend using WD-40 SPECIALIST® WHITE LITHIUM SPRAY GREASE to solve the problem. This prevents rust formation in the lock. However, it is important that you apply the oil in the right place in the lock so that the WD-40 reaches the moving parts to ensure good lubrication.
